Discriminatory practices can be manifested in any area, including in the areas of employment and housing. This paper examines the presence of ethnic prejudices in the rental market in St. Petersburg and the factors affecting the manifestation of discriminatory practices. An experiment was conducted in which landlords on the real estate site CIAN sent out requests for rental housing from two people with Russian names and two people with Dagestan names, after which the answers were analyzed with R to identify the effects of factors such as gender tenant , the location of the accommodation and the price for the apartment, on prejudice. It was found that landlords ignore representatives of the ethnic group more often, while in different areas the likelihood of prejudice is different, gender and price were not significant.
