Elaboration of a Financial Model of a Tour Operator for Active Tourism as an Investment Project

The aim of the paper was to examine the concept of new tour operator for active tourism (trekking tours) as an investment project by building an operational financial model. During the work analysis of adventure tourism market was held, basics of financial modeling were studied, characteristics of imagined tour operator were defined, two trekking tours were developed, financial model was built and the results were analyzed according to three scenarios. The model showed that the business will gain profit if there will be more than 4 participants in each tour group.
