This paper examines the legal regulation of compulsory licenses under the law of Great Britain, Germany, the United States and Russia. The relevance of the topic is due to the emerging legal disputes, as well as initiatives of state bodies in the field of compulsory licensing in the Russian Federation. The objectives of the work are a comprehensive study of the laws of Great Britain, Germany, the USA and Russia in the field of compulsory licensing of patent rights, as well as a study of the practice of applying the institution of compulsory licensing in the UK, Germany, the USA and Russia, at the same time identifying problems in the Russian Federation and finding the ways of their settlement To achieve the purpose and accomplish the objectives, systematic, comparative legal, formal legal and historical methods are used. The master thesis consists of three chapters, introduction and conclusion.
