Choice Factors of Business Development Strategies of Global Internet Marketplace by the Example of Amazon and Alibaba

The main goal of the work is to determine what factors two Internet platforms Amazon and Alibaba used to choose a business development strategy, and what key indicators helped them to become the largest companies in the two rapidly growing economies of the world America and China To find this out we would analyse the existing research in the field of business development strategies of global companies. After that we would take a look at the business development strategies of global internet marketplaces. Also, we would study the factors of choice of business development strategies of internet marketplaces in the global scale. To look closer, we would make a case study of each company to find out their strategy, which factors for business development strategies they use and which financial results it brings. We would perform a comparative analysis of Amazon and Alibaba financial indicators to find out how their choice of factors of business development strategies mirrors in the financial report. As the goal of a for-profit company is the profit in general, financial indicators would help us to judge the efficiency of the chosen factors for business development. To sum up, we would give the recommendations on the choice of factors and we will see if there is a need and possibility for further research.
