Information System Design for Academic Texts Comparison based on Text Style Characteristics

The presented work is a description of the process of designing a system for comparing the stylistic characteristics of texts. The system is designed to detect the compliance of the style of one object of comparison with another. The objects of comparison can be both single texts and arrays of texts - the body. This system may be applicable for academic studies of the language, in the field of education, for monitoring the quality of education, as well as for commercial developments, as an integrable system. Work includes “Introduction”, three chapters, “Conclusion”, “Bibliographic list” and annexes. In the "Introduction" justified the relevance of the problem of designing a system of stylistic characteristics. The first chapter is an overview of methods, tools and examples of solving the problem of identifying style. The task of automation, the conditions and limitations of the system are described in the second chapter. Also in this part the use cases of the system are analyzed, on the basis of which the basic functional requirements for the system are formed. The third chapter of the work is a description of non-functional requirements for the system, namely the formation of a comparison model and the choice of implementation tools. Also, in the course of the third chapter, layouts of the system’s screen forms were prepared and described. The main results of the work are the generated requirements for the functionality of the system, as well as the requirements for implementation tools. The work consists of 64 pages of main text, includes 16 figures, 2 tables and 2 annexes. The bibliographic list contains 74 titles.
