The Use of Blockchain Technology in Public Administration

At this moment in time we can see an increase in the interest of states in the use of blockchain technology in public administration. This research deals with the blockchain technology and its use in public administration. This study aims to develop recommendations on how to implement the blockchain technology in the administration of the Perm region. In the course of this research, the basics of blockchain technology and its use in public administration, as well as the global experience of applying, regulating and supporting the development of blockchain technology in public administration were studied. The domestic experience of applying blockchain technology in public administration was also studied. To find out the problems of implementing blockchain technology in the administration of the Perm region, semi-structured interview and polls of government officials and representatives of the legislature of the Perm region were conducted. The work resulted in recommendations on how to implement the blockchain technology in the administration of the Perm region, as well as their implementation mechanisms and expected results.
