Sampo. A Novel (the Beginning)

Sampo is the historical fantasy novel set in 19th century Finland. The war between Russia and Sweden erupts, and the finnish populace rise up against the conquerors from both sides. Meanwhile the young Russian officer Nikolai Agnetzky loses the trust of his commanders and the connections with his family. He gets only one chance for redemption: a misterious religious leader raises an army of partisans that wrecks havoc across the country. Agnetzky should catch him and get back to the headquarters. However in the process the thin woof of reality teras apart, the myth and legends come into life, and the only way of rescuing the world —— is to rescue thyself...
