The Legal Regulation of the Transfer of Personal Data on the Internet (On the Example of Social Networks)

The work is devoted to the legal regulation of the transfer of personal data on the Internet, the main problem of which is to find a balance between the interest of the subject of personal data, to protect its rights and freedoms and the business that in the digital economy seeks to collect and use data, personal. The first part of the work contains an analysis of the definition of personal data, its characteristics, and a comparison with such concepts as “the right to privacy”, “big data”, “impersonal personal data”. In the second part of the work, the rights that may arise in relation to personal data are analyzed, as well as legal requirements that prevent the circulation of personal data and their possible overcoming, taking into account the rights of the subjects of personal data.
