Modelling of Innovative Activities of Small and Medium Business in Russia

This work is devoted to the study of innovative activity of small and medium-sized businesses in the Russian Federation. The relevance of the work is determined by the fact that the Russian Government aims to improve the economic situation and move to a qualitatively new level, for this it is necessary to increase the level of use of high technologies. At the moment, innovation activity is increasing in all spheres of the Russian economy, but it is mainly shown by large enterprises. Therefore, increasing the activity of small and medium-sized businesses is a very important task. The aim of the work is to develop a model of innovative activity of small and medium-sized businesses based on selected factors. To solve this goal, the evaluation of innovation activity of small and medium-sized businesses in the Russian Federation was carried out, the indicators of innovation activity were studied, the factors most affecting the innovation activity of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Russian Federation by regression analysis were identified, the impact of innovation on the standard of living of citizens of the Russian Federation by cluster analysis was revealed. Based on the results of the regression analysis, a model with significant coefficients was built, which explains 88% of the variance. According to the results of the cluster analysis, the subjects of the Russian Federation were divided into 2 groups: leading and lagging. It was also found that innovation has a positive impact on the standard of living.
