Compulsory licensing of patents in pharmaceutical industry

This study is devoted to compulsory licensing. The purpose of the study is to define and clarify conditions for granting a pharmaceutical patent compulsory license under Russian law. The study describes the concept of compulsory licensing and the nature of this legal institution, examines the existing mechanisms for granting compulsory licenses in various foreign jurisdictions (the USA, the European Union and India), and analyzes the existing mechanisms for granting compulsory licenses under Russian law.
