Concept of Primal Scene in Psychoanalysis

This paper explores the concept of the first scene from a psychoanalytic point of view. The psychoanalytic concept of the primary scene, the symbolization of the first stage, early triangulations, as the forerunners of the first stage and the effect of the first stage on the attraction to knowledge, are analyzed. Clinical material was analyzed in terms of mental functioning, access to gender differences and differences between generations, as well as to Oedipal conflicts.
