Foreign Students' Adaptation to Living Abroad While Studying as International Exchange Students

The paper analyses the strategies of adaptation of foreign students participating in international academic mobility programs in Paris. The study takes into consideration life conditions, perception of the national education, everyday life's specifics, difficulties after country changing, and comminucation issues. Financial behavior, daily expenditures and budget planning are examined additionally. The perception of French culture is analyzed with the use of a socio-cultural approach. The study is based upon the data from 13 in-depth semi-structured interviews conducted with the participants of international exchange programs within the period from October to December 2018 in English, French and Spanish languages.
