The bachelor thesis on the topic “Improving of the Public Transportation of Saint Petersburg Using the Urban Transportation Network Analysis Methods” is devoted to the study of the urban public transportation network of Saint Petersburg. The final goal of the research is to identify problem areas of the Saint Petersburg urban public transportation network and find out possible ways to improve public transport services. In the course of the study, a geographical information system based on ArcGIS was constructed on the basis of Saint Petersburg Open Data services and a spatial analysis of the urban transit network was carried out.
