The concept of the public sphere says that "new" media give more opportunities for development of democratic society, granting everyone the right to vote and an opportunity to be heard. But results of modern researches demonstrate that practice is far from the theory. In the research the author made an attempt of the quantitative and qualitative analysis of publications for the purpose of definition of key trends in the description of the migration conflict by the German media.
