This final qualifying paper contains the theoretical aspects of the study of the youth entrepreneurial environment. This paper discusses the mechanisms for supporting youth entrepreneurship at the state and municipal levels, analyzes the work of the Committee for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Consumer Market in St. Petersburg, and also considers the content of the Center for Innovative Entrepreneurship HSE. In the practical part, the work is an analysis of the results of a survey conducted among HSE students and an analysis of the relationship between socio-demographic data (gender, age) of students and their capabilities to build their own business and the idea of ​​its organization in a computer program for statistical data analysis SPSS.
