The topic of this work is the reception of J. D. Salinger in Soviet Adolescents Novels published in the "Yunost" Literary magazine in 1960-1985s. The russian translation-adaptation by Rita Rait-Kovaleva has a special place in the Soviet readers' mind. The publication of the novel in the Soviet Union (1960) caused great readers' interest and generated a lot of responses. The impact of the novel "The Catcher in The Rye" affected to the prose for young people. The novel became the strongest factor of influence which in many respects caused teenage stories' poetics.
