WHO AM I?/Creating an Unisex Collection on Theme: "People and Masks"

Student: Lavrova Aleksandra

Supervisor: Maria Klyuchevskaya

Faculty: Faculty of Creative Industries

Educational Programme: Design (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2019

People often wear different “masks” throughout their lives, depending on the circumstances and the place. Each person has his own set of “masks”: I am at home, I am with friends, at work, at leisure, etc. People sometimes do not know themselves to the end, and they may manifest some unexpected features. The man has many faces. In my graduation collection, I reveal this topic through the prism of color. We can not be always the concreate person , we are different. A man like a rainbow has different “colors”, shades. I took 7 colors of the rainbow, and also added 2 primary colors: white and black. White as a point of reference in this palette, and the blacks the end. Between them extends a rich and deep of colors, where each shade has its own symbolism, reflecting a certain kind of “mask”. Also on all 9 models will be covered face mask hood. The models will not see the face, although usually the face is the accent in the image, but here it is shifted to the clothes and everyone thinks: who in front of him?
