This paper is aimed to modeling and optimization of hybrid supercapacitors. The history of supercapacitors, the basic principles of operation, main parameters, the advantages and disadvantages of supercapacitors are described in this work. To analyze the data obtained, the desktop application was developed. This application can be used for creating models of supercapacitors, make calculations of mane parameters of supercapacitors, optimize and observe results on charts. To develop this application, objected-oriented computer language named Python was used, within special libraries such as Fipy and others. Based on the obtained parameters, optimization was carried out on the thickness of the electrodes (on the thickness of the positive electrode at a fixed negative one; on the thickness of the negative electrode at a fixed positive one; simultaneously on thicknesses of both electrodes). The work contains 47 pages, 10 figure and 1 table.
