This paper is devoted to assessing the degree of exchange rate pass-through in the postsocialist area from 2000 to 2017. Exchange rate pass-through is the volatility of the internal price level as a result of changes in the value of the national currency in the world market. Data to assess the extent of this effect were collected for each country in the postsocialist area. The value of the research is to assess the exchange rate pass-through as a result of changes in effective exchange rates at the level of consumer prices and the level of prices in the economies of the countries as a whole, taking into account the implementation of various economic policies. The exchange rate pass-through was estimated with the help of the stationary and dynamic models that take into account the non-instantaneous change in the price level. As a result, the strength of the exchange rate pass-through in the postsocialist area was revealed.
