This paper presents the review and the comparison of complex network characteristics of two core approaches to building a graph: classic (when explicitly specified connections between nodes are used) and novel (“Data graph”), where connections are based on data associated with nodes. The aim of this research – to test on the real-world data the quality of data modelling using data graphs and specify the model that should transfer all dependencies between complex networks elements. During the research we built data graphs and implemented algorithms for calculating complex network characteristics, such as degree distribution and other, and then compared characteristics of graphs of connections and data graphs built on real-world data.
