Comparative Analysis of Career Path of Men and Women in the Public Service

A career in the public service is the gradual promotion of positions in the public civil service within the current or higher group of positions, accompanied by professional growth. However, not always career paths of civil servants are built consistently and transparently. Building a career in the public service is the gradual promotion of positions in the public civil service within the current or higher group of positions, accompanied by professional growth. The aim of the work is to develop recommendations for career advancement of civil servants based on the analysis of career trajectories of civil servants of the Russian Federation. To achieve a qualitative analysis of the biographies of 87 career trajectories of civil servants. The results of the analysis of career trajectories of civil servants are presented by the method of graphs, which allowed to draw conclusions about the impact of personal relationships on career advancement in public authorities of the Russian Federation. Based on the results of the analysis, recommendations were proposed to improve the regulatory framework for the formation of career trajectories of civil servants of the Russian Federation.
