Overview of the Possibilities of Information Security Interaction Between the Republic of Korea and Russian Federation in Northeast Asia

Annotation Overview of the Possibilities of Information Security Interaction Between the Republic of Korea and Russian Federation in Northeast Asia This article examines the definition of the possibilities of information security interaction between the Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation for countermeasures against cyberattacks and establish international tasks in cyberspace. The world situation was analyzed between countries in North-East Asia and their initiating to establish international standards in cyberspace and intention of cooperation between them. The following problems have been identified through: - Cybersecurity as the emergence of a new structure of the NEA countries in cyberspace. - Disagreements between countries regarding the concepts of “cybersecurity and information security” and their borders. It is necessary to solve the problems of cybersecurity by introducing a new concept of security and the concept of their view based on constructivism to achieve the prescribed goals. To address these challenges a proactive approach is required: consideration new opportunities for interaction in the field of information security between the Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation. The following methods were applied to solve this problem: analysis of the documentation of international organizations, official announcements of the states of Northeast Asia and the media, analysis of empirical data, dissertations and articles. Summarizing the discussion above the interactions between Middle Power diplomacy of the Republic of Korea and the directions of the Russian Federation in the framework of multilateral cooperation in the field of information security can play a significant role in this structure.
