Warranty and Compensation Payments to Athletes and Coaches

This final qualifying work is dedicated to the analysis of the current state of the legal framework of the warranty and compensation payments to athletes and coaches. Nowadays, a great amount of legal studies is focused on legal regulation of sport and physical culture in Russian Federation because of the international positioning of the Russian sport. Due to this fact, current government policy at the legislative level is focused on the improvement of the of legal regulation of the work of athletes and coaches. The main goal of the study is the complex analysis of the legislative regulation of work of athletes and coaches based on investigation of the legal nature of the Institute of guarantees and compensation in labor law. During the study some of the objectives were formulated: to analyze current labor law and determine the features of the warranty and compensation payments to athletes and coaches as well as determination of key problems of this process. In the present work the following General scientific and private scientific methods were used: dialectical, formal-logical, system-structural and comparative-legal. International legal acts, the Constitution of the Russian Federation, Federal laws, laws and regulations of the Russian Federation and acts of subjects, as well as some local regulations and collective agreements adopted in organizations, the rules of law of foreign countries were used as legal sources of the study. In the study of issues relating to the legal regulation of the work of athletes and coaches were studied scientific works of various scientists, including S.V. Alekseev, N.A. Ovchinnikova, D.I. Rogachev, O.A. Shevchenko, A.Y. Petrov. As a result of the conducted research the key problems of the process of the realization of warranty and compensation payments to the special subjects of legal relations were determined and the possible resolutions were given.
