Think Tanks and Russia: Functioning During The Third Presidential Term of V. Putin

The research is devoted to the analysis of the functioning of Russian think tanks during the third V.V. Putin’s presidential term. The work is divided into two major parts. In the first part, the concept of «border structures» are considered.. After that, the author of the research analyzes the literature devoted to think tanks. It also analyzes the formation and development of think tanks in Russia. The second chapter of the research examines the functioning of 18 thought factories. On the basis of the activity of these organizations, as well as expert interviews with representatives of think tanks, changes in the functioning of the organizations are revealed.
