Vehicle routing is the problem in which for a vehicle fleet, located at some depot location, one must find a number of routes to specified customers. Vehicle routing problems often occur in many real-life applications in fields of transportation and logistics. In this work, a specific version of vehicle routing problem originated from the real-world constraints is proposed to be observed. For such a problem a mathematical formulation and a generalized algorithm, based on Tabu Search metaheuristic that addresses all the introduced constraints, are defined. Following the definitions, the results of the algorithm implementation are shown on several specific test problems and reduced algorithm results are compared against heuristically found best known solutions on benchmarking problems that are widely used within the scientific society.
