Evolution of Representations of the "Prague Spring" in Socio-Political Discourse of the Czech Republic in the 2000-2018

The topic of this work is «Evolution of Representations of the «Prague Spring» in Socio-Political Discourse of the Czech Republic in the 2000-2018». The paper examines how the representation of the «Prague Spring» has transformed over the past 18 years. The first chapter of this work is devoted to the theoretical context of the problem and the operationalization of basic concepts. The second chapter is devoted to the chronology of references to the theme of the "Prague Spring" in the period 2000-2018. This chapter mentions all the speeches of presidents, prime-ministers, deputies and other political actors who addressed the topic of the events of 1968. The third chapter of this paper is an analysis of the identified representations, an analysis of the factors that transform the Prague Spring representations and the identification of the functions of the representations. The conclusions obtained in the framework of this study are indicated and summarized in the conclusion of the paper.
