Digital Economics Research and Creation of Digitalization Strategy for a Construction Company

The fourth industrial revolution changes the traditionally conservative parts of the economy, including the construction industry. Compliance with the changing requirements and technologies is becoming a factor in the survival of construction companies. Companies that have undergone a transformation receive a reduction in costs, a decrease in the time of the production cycle and, as a result, low cost and rapid turnover of funds. In the final qualifying work on the theme “Study of the digital economy and the creation of a digitalization strategy (digitalization) of the construction industry enterprises” a study of digital transformation taking place in the construction industry is planned. The study includes: • Research of construction companies and trends in the Russian construction industry • Research on the use of digital technologies in construction companies • Development of a business model for a construction company resulting from digital transformation As part of the study, the following actions and modeling of problem solving will be carried out: • Analysis of the current business model of the company • Formulation of goals and assessment of areas of digital transformation • Creation of a promising business model resulting from digital transformation • Development of a roadmap for implementing a digital strategy • Selection and justification of the introduction of a new business model • Choice of digital solutions for the construction company conversion
