Power and Digitalization in Russia in the Context of Regime Transformations: How Authocracies Use New Technologies

The study is aimed to analyze the main goals of autocracies, that implement new technologies in the power structures. The actuality of the study comes from the fact, that the theme of relations between innovation technologies and autocracy is poorly discovered in the academic sphere. Research paper includes both quantitative and qualitative methods. Statistical dependencies, sentiment and literature analysis are used to point out, whether autocratic state implement innovations to make a democracy transition or to keep the power.
