The master thesis is aimed at overcoming the lack of conceptualization of political identification in contemporary political theory by reflecting the transformation of this notion in feminism from the philosophical perspective. It analyzes how identification is problematized in contemporary political theory and philosophy, including feminist philosophy; develops a theoretical framework that would allow to understand transformation of identification in feminism; and illustrates it on an example from the competition of the Democratic candidates Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton during the electoral campaign of 2016.
