The Role of State Support and Subsidies in the Development of Civil Avia Transportation

The civilian air transportation market is sensitive and is currently experiencing hard times. For its stable growth and development, airlines need state support. In this paper, we study the instruments of state support for civilian air transportation that are used in practice. The study attempts to analyze the mechanisms and instruments of state support and subsidies in the development of civilian air transportation as part of the strategic planning for the development of regional air transportation, highlights the main aspects of the application of best international practices.
