Strategic Alternatives for the Development Strategy of FEFU School of Data Economy

Rapid expansion of digital technologies in all spheres of the economy, changes in the composition of the most demanded skills in the labor market largely determines the new strategic guidelines for the development of education and necessitates consideration of factors of digital transformation in the development, updating long-term programs and development strategies of the majority of educational institutions of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the master's thesis is to develop strategic development alternatives for the School of Data Economy of the Far Eastern Federal University in the context of strategic priorities and digital transformation tasks facing the University for the period 2020-2029. In the theoretical part of the work, methodological approaches to strategic planning and the choice of strategic alternatives in educational organizations are considered; the key modern challenges facing universities in the field of digital economy are characterized. The project part of the work is devoted to the feasibility evaluation of strategic development alternatives for the School of Data Economy based on the analysis of external and internal environment factors. The results of the study have a practical value and can be used for the School’s strategic development planning until 2029.
