The topic of the graduation thesis is “Contract as a Tool for Legal Regulation of Professional Sport: Practice of Russia and USA”. Key words: sports, sports law, professional sports, contracts in professional sports. The subject of the research is the regulatory and legal prerequisites for the appearance and functioning of contractual relations in the field of professional sports in the Russian Federation and the USA. The graduation thesis is presented on 73 pages, includes an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion and a list of references. The introduction determines the relevance of the topic, the goal of the graduation thesis and defines the tasks. The first chapter of the graduation thesis considers a general description of the concept of sports law in Russia and the USA, researches the main sources of sports law, and analyzes the research of the meaning of the contract in professional sports. The second chapter reveals the classifications and characteristics of different types of contracts in professional sports in Russia and the USA. The third chapter analyzes the bodies and forms of consideration of sports disputes in Russia and the United States. The conclusion contains the main conclusions on the presented work.
