The question that this paper is concerned with is a nuanced and difficult one. While the Cold war is still alive and well within popular imagination, it is often forgotten that the bipolar system of the Cold War really had three heads not two. The non-aligned movement may not be as important as the epic struggle of two economic systems, but it arguably gave birth to modern multipolar international system. This objective of this paper is to tell the story of the evolution of non-aligned movement, it’s rise and continuation as well as to identify the far-reaching implications of it’s existence and above all uncover the influence of non-aligned movement on emergence of today’s multipolar international politics. The first part of the paper will be devoted to the general history of non-aligned movement. After the general history section, there will be actual analysis of case studies, pertinent to the main question. And lastly there will be conclusions section
