The Cinematic Society. The Influence of Cinema on Lifestyle in XX-XXI

The graduation project consists of a visual study "American Icons", a book "Cinematic Society. The influence of cinema on lifestyle in the XX-XXI century." and a font designed specifically for publication. The project analyzes the impact of Hollywood cinema (and, accordingly, the capitalist world and US ideals of the last two centuries) on various spheres of public life. Visual research is intended to give an idea of ​​the variety of visual types of each decade of the last century, a certain cyclical nature of their appearance and impact on public life.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.
