Legal Regulation of Labor Protection

This work examines in detail the main aspects of legal regulation of labor protection, considers safe and healthy working conditions, harmful and dangerous industrial factors, psychosocial factors of labor protection, industrial injuries and occupational diseases, their investigation and accounting. The work analyzes the scientific and educational literature and judicial practice to identify the most urgent problems of labor protection. The author offers a more complete definition of labor protection and explains the importance of taking into account psychological factors of labor and the need to strengthen the right of employees to protect their mental health and to protect them from psychological harassment. The author also examines the requirements and standards of labor protection, special assessment of working conditions and their legal regulation in Russia. Regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation and international standards in the field of labor protection are analyzed in detail and the main directions of state policy in the field of labor protection are considered. The author also compares the sectoral and intersectoral Institute of labor protection. The work contains an analysis of the main rights and obligations of employees in the field of labor protection and some shortcomings of their systematization in the Labor code of the Russian Federation. The author also studies the legal regulation of labor protection of remote workers and women's labor protection, since the issues of labor protection of these categories of workers are the most relevant from the author's point of view. The author explains the need for legislative consolidation of additional standards on labor protection for remote workers. They should include more responsibilities of the employer to protect the professional health of remote employees and provide for greater responsibility of the employer for the preservation of their life and health. Women's labour protection should consist in eliminating the causes of adverse working conditions and occupational diseases and providing them with certain benefits, rather than restricting their choice of employment. As a result of a detailed study, the problems of legal regulation of labor protection were identified and ways to improve the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of labor protection were proposed.
