Changing Role of Germany from the Perspective of Different Theories of European Integration

The work is devoted to the changing role of Germany in the EU in terms of different theories of European integration. The first chapter describes the main theories of European integration. Using a content analysis of official German documents, it examines which theory Germany most often appeals to. The second chapter examines the changing role of Germany from 2009 to 2019 through the prism of the chosen theory.
