Legal Regulation of Migration Issues in the European Union and the Russian Federation

This work is devoted to the study of the theoretical and legal problems of regulating migration relations in the Russian Federation, as well as in some European countries. It reveals the content and sources of the institution of migration, its conceptual apparatus, legal nature. The legal regulation of migration at the international and national levels is considered. The problematic issues of observing the rights of migrants, the interaction of states on migration issues are revealed. Based on an analysis of international norms, the laws of Germany, France, Russia, and practice, a number of proposals have been developed to improve the legal regulation of migration: from improving legal technology to creating conditions conducive to safe migration growth both in the Russian Federation and around the world.
