In international private law, the issue of recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards remains the primary issue, since it is at this stage of the proceedings, that the claimant receives material satisfaction. There exists already regulations on the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards. Both the Russian Federation Arbitration Procedure Code and the UN Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards in 1958 form part of the regulatory system in Russia, but the case-law of arbitration courts concerning the recognition and enforcement of foreign judicial awards are unclear
