The death of a loved one often deprives people of the meaning of life, goals, and guidelines. We all grieve differently, and we need different support. Someone needs to be hugged, someone wants to be alone. Most divorces in families that went through losses are due to the fact that people simply did not know how to support each other. In our podcast we talk about loss, pain, and how different people experience the death of loved ones and how they face death every day at work. Our podcast combines stories of ordinary people (students, parishioners, mothers) with the arguments of experts (psychologists, anthropologists and other researchers). We are trying to understand what are the common features of grief, what are individual reactions, and is there a common tradition of grief. Starting such a conversation in the public sphere, we want to increase the level of understanding of the problem of death in Russia.
