The thesis concentrates on the issue go the Libyan conflict and the Italian role in it. Special emphasis was made on the historical prospective of the relations between Italy and Libya. The analysis of the colonial period is crucial to understand the basis of Italo-libyan relations nowadays. Moreover, the research provides deep analysis of strategies and actions of international actors and gives a prognosis of the future of the conflict.
