The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on September 25, 2015 as part of Resolution 70/1 «Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development» cover a wide range of issues that are faced by both developing and developed countries. For the Russian Federation, issues of achieving the SDGs are relevant to the framework of the international agenda and the socio-economic development. Therefore, comprehensive consideration of the current UN SDGs accomplishment in the Russian Federation is of particular relevance. This paper aims to review current situation of the UN SDGs accomplishment with a particular focus on each goal. The mixed-methods approach is used that means that both quantitative methods (observational research & content analysis) and qualitative methods (case study). Results suggest that most of the UN Sustainable Development Goals are reflected in the public policy of the Russian Federation.
