The present project aimed to investigate the specifics of the role of the producer in low-budget independent short films, with the subsequent application of the knowledge gained in the filming of the film entitled "EuropeanKa". The work used a descriptive analysis of Russian and foreign literature, the case study and experiment. The approaches used in combination with film production process could be developed in finished product and its promotion strategy as a result.
