LNG Spot Pricing and its Implication on the Strategies of Russian Suppliens (Asian Market)

The first chapter analyzed the evolution of natural gas trade and pricing in the world, identified the advantages of LNG supplies over pipeline gas and considered the structure of LNG project value creation. The second chapter analyzes the demand for natural gas in Asia and its application in various industries. The methods of pricing on the Asian LNG market are considered and the development strategy of Russian LNG supplies to this region is described. The third chapter presents a calculated model of LNG supply and demand on the Asian spot market and defines the required export capacity of Russian LNG projects. The practical significance of the work lies in studying the trends of Asian energy markets development, identifying the specifics of the spot trade, developing and quantifying the scenarios of Russian companies' presence in the Asian market.
