The topic of this work refers to evolving investigations of video game space representation in the context of games for visually impaired people. The general purpose of this project is to identify elements that determine the realistic representation of the video game space in the face of limited user perception. To achieve this paper’s aim our team made the prototype of the audio-based interactive novel The Spirit Cases. I tried to construct realistic space representation in the demo-version of our project using Michael Nitsche’s concept of video game spaces and the idea of game immersion. The result of this project could be helpful for the practical purposes of creating immersive games for visually impaired users.
