Faculty: Graduate School of Business

Educational Programme: Business Informatics (Bachelor)

Final Grade: 8

Year of Graduation: 2020

Information systems and technologies are widely used tools for most organizations at all levels and structures. Although there are examples of effectively implemented systems and technologies, there are also not very successful ones. The subject of my research is focused not only on the impact of well-functioning informational implementations, but, most importantly, on the reasons why they worked in a particular scenario, such as country, year, organizational culture. A well-executed and well-maintained system or technology relies on many different circumstances and facts that have been discovered for different countries using an open data source - BEEPS V and MENA ES, 2012-2016. The combined data set contains spatial data for 41 countries and various enterprises. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) has become the primary research method using key business intelligence tools: SmartPLS 3.0 and the Python programming language. The main goal of this study is to find out what factors of information systems and technologies and their environment make them work effectively for certain groups of countries.
