Creating a Financial Model for a Company Operating in the Video-on-Demand Segment

In this paper, the building of a financial model of a company operating in the video-on-demand segment will be considered. Special attention will be paid to the financial model of such a company as the main goal of the companies operating in the VoD market is the development of the most efficient financial models that allow to forecast the main financial metrics and make management and operational decisions. Several objectives have been determined to accomplish that: to study the recent and basic literature, to conduct marketing research of the VoD segment, to build the financial model. The model will be based on open financial data of analyzed companies such as annual reports. The results can be used in practice and implemented for a company operating in the VoD segment.
