The goal of this final qualifying work is defining the determinants of the consumer choice of the disposal method (between self-sorting, paying and refusing to participate) and estimating the value of willingness to pay for the waste-sorting by other people. The tasks of this work include determining the factors which stop individuals from participating in the waste-sorting process, comparing the charachteristics of sorting and not-sorting individuals and determining the conditions of participating in the waste-sorting process. The data for this work consists of two samples acquired from the online-questionnaires. Based on the regressions built on this data were determined the main factors influencing the real and the hypothetical consumer choice of the disposal method. After the descriptive and regression analysis the SWOT-analysis was carried through and based on its result were proposed recommendations for increasing the rate of participation in waste-sorting. The volume of the report on final qualifying work excluding the annex is 67 pages. The number of tables in the work is 20, illustrations – 12, sources of literature – 78.
