Web Publishing Service for Creating Media Content and Collaborative Editing

As more people use digital solutions for their working needs, the amount of content generated by users raised — in the case of the project, media publications, created and shared through the web. The market tries to satisfy such demand by suggesting different tools, that provide the functionality for creating and sharing digital publications. Nevertheless, according to the personal experience while working with large media publications, there were identified several difficulties during the process of collaborative editing of these publications. The aim of the project is to design and implement into the web publishing service the new mechanic at the stage of collaborative editing. For these needs, during the project research, the history of tools for creating digital publications and users behavior while collaborative text editing were considered. Besides the research stage, the process of working on the web service implies the development stage, when the service interface was designed. As a result, the proposed web publishing service offers users a simple visual editor for creating publications, their collaborative editing and the functionality for sharing the work results to the public or private.
