Organization and Conduct of IT-Audit in Financial Company

Today, there is an increasing growth of various companies. Together with companies, their staff and IT infrastructure are expanding. It is especially noticeable in the financial sector: banks and insurance companies. However, this expansion leads to potential reporting errors, software vulnerabilities and inefficient use of existing and emerging capacities. An audit is a help in solving these problems, and speaking about the IT part of the company - IT audit. The problem of this research is the impact of IT audit on the efficiency of business processes of the IT infrastructure of the financial company. The purpose of work is development of an order of IT audit of the financial company and granting of its results. The study examines the theoretical base already studied and summarizes the knowledge on the topic under study: general financial audit and IT audit. The work has practical relevance and explores the real IT infrastructure of the Bank, and the developed rules of procedure for IT audit can be used in practice in the organization and conduct of IT audit of the financial company.
