The main objectives of this study are comprised by analysis of the historic background, relevant factors and events of the Sino-Indian interrelations, overview of the current status of the Chinese and Indian economies, research on the present condition, the scope and the main trends of China – India commercial cooperation and investigation of the problems and possible prospects of Sino-Indian trade and economic relationship development. The research methods are inclusive of a content, historical and comparative analysis of the primary data, consisting of the information from the relevant official databases and documents, along with the secondary data that include Russian, English and Chinese articles, studies and books on the topic.
